Hello world!

Living La Dolce Life.

What does that mean?  It depends who you ask and what they find to be valuable or good.

European’s are usually known for their relaxed pace of life.  They know how to relax and take in life as it happens.  They know how to savor life to its fullest.  Even a simple task as strolling to the plaza or piazza turns into an experience; stopping to acknowledge the people around them and savoring not only the delicious food but also the conversations.  They find ways to share happiness with another human being and try to make the most of those moments.  Travel, work, food, wine and the experience of living – it is only beautiful if you can share it with others.

La dolce vita (life) in Italy means a life of pleasure and simple luxury.  La dolce life in the USA means the same – the difference is that we must retrain our mind to make this happen.  Our society is one that encourages us to forget the pleasure in the simple things.

What it means to me is living a life filled with love, beauty and time to enjoy the blessings.  For me, it simply means living the “sweet” life to the fullest.  It’s about enjoying the good things life has to give us.  It’s about really indulging in the things we love.  This doesn’t equate to having it all or needing a trust fund to accomplish our dreams.  On the contrary, it means understanding what you have and using it well.

It is a natural lifestyle for me to follow as I love squeezing each and every little drop out of everything I do.  Living life to the fullest is what I do when I live in the present each day.  Loving what I have; whether it’s a good cup of coffee or spending time with loved ones.  Living La Dolce Life is not having material things or comforts, for me it’s having authentic and beautiful experiences that stay with me.

I live life to the fullest.  I would like to share my experiences with you in hopes of helping you achieve la dolce life as well!

Dolce living,

Yaneth
